Last week, the Korean customer conducted an inspection and acceptance of the KSP series single-screw pelletizing machine, This pelletizing line is used for processing High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) scrap materials with extremely low melt index values. System Overview
Designed specifically for hard plastic recycling applications, the KSP series combines feeding, plasticizing, filtration, cutting and drying operations into a closed-loop system suitable for processing multiple material types including PP, PE, HDPE, ABS, PS, HIPS, and PC regrind flakes. 1.Stainless Steel Screw Feeder
Its main function is to transport the crushed raw materials into the single screw extruder. Kitech Machinery can customize different capacities according to the production needs of customers. 4. Special heating and cooling system
Equipped with a specially designed cooling system, it can precisely control the melting temperature, keeping the heating temperature steadily within the range of 180 - 190 degrees Celsius. Under this temperature range, the material can achieve low - temperature melting and granulation, effectively avoiding the destruction of the material's properties and physical attributes caused by high temperatures.

6. Water Ring Pelletizer with Adaptive Cutting

Performance Validation

During the HDPE recycling demonstration, the system achieved continuous throughput of 400-500 kg/h for materials with poor fluidity with energy consumption rates 15-18% below industry benchmarks. The resulting pellets exhibited uniform melt flow index (MFI) values and chromatic consistency, qualifying for Grade-A reprocessing applications.
